Our Story
Learn how Adventure Pass connects adventurers with memorable outdoor experiences.
We're building a world where people find teammates, trusted guides, and unforgettable outdoor experiences.
Why we started
Most people don't stop exploring because of lack of interest. They stop because they don't have the right people.
Beginners struggle to find safe groups. Experienced adventurers struggle to find matching skill levels.
And trusted guides? Often scattered and hard to verify.

First moment
Our first ever organized adventure at Piduruthalagala brought together 12 strangers who became a team on the trail.
Piduruthalagala · Jan 202512 adventurers. One mountain. No expectations.
What started as a simple hike turned into the foundation of our community. People who had never met before supported each other through steep climbs, shared water, pushed through fatigue, and finished as one team.
Notes from our first organized hike

Colombo, Sri Lanka
Honestly didn't think I'd make it past the first hour. The trail got muddy and steep and I was embarrassed how slow I was. A few people I'd just met stayed with me anyway. Still have that group photo at the top, everyone covered in dirt.
Kandy, Sri Lanka
I know these hills, but I signed up to walk with new faces, not the same friend group. We hit mist on the ridge, pooled snacks, kept moving. Nothing fancy. Just a good day with good people.
Bangalore, India
Was in Sri Lanka for two weeks and wanted one real hike. Didn't know anyone on the booking. The local guys in our group checked pace, passed water, didn't make a thing of it. Hard walk. Glad I went.
Melbourne, Australia
First time in the country. I hike a lot at home but not here. People slowed down when I asked about the path and shared food like it was normal. Felt less like a tour and more like a group of mates.
Manchester, UK
Flew in solo and was nervous at the trailhead. By lunch that had gone. Mix of locals and travellers, all patient on the steep bits. I booked it on Adventure Pass a week before the trip. Easily the best day of my holiday.
Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka
Twelve on the register. Most had never met. Somewhere past halfway they were sharing water without me asking. That's the job done, as far as I'm concerned.
